About meI am the founder and creator of Coton Colors, Inc.  More importantly, I am a mother of 3 girls, Kyle, Sara Kate and Mary Parker. They are all beautiful and each unique. I am married to Milton, and have been for over 25 years! *Wow, I can’t be that old* We live in Tallahassee, Florida, which is my husband’s home town.  Little did I know that when I came to attend FSU as an Art major (all those years ago) that Tallahassee would become my home.

I love to cook, read, fish and create. I love to entertain so if you come to our home you will most likely end up, after having been
jumped on by a few ill behaved dogs, standing in our kitchen or around the grill.

About Us

The fun started over 20 years ago when I began dying and hand painting cotton clothing (thus the name). Throughout the years, our designs have been inspired by the many Celebrations of Life. Today, Coton Colors has evolved into a company that offers many different types of fun products that you can find in retail stores all over the country.

In addition, we also have 2 flagship retail stores which are headed up by my mom, Dee, who is truly a human dynamo! If you are ever in our Tallahassee store, believe me, you will meet her.

Despite our growth, my great joy is maintaining a family atmosphere. With my parents, sister, daughters and nieces working
alongside of me (and a terrific team of employees that have become relatives) Coton Colors is a true family business.

happen daily at Coton Colors are many!

I hope that we can provide some inspirations to help you create those special Celebrations of Life.

About the Dog

During our recent renovation, my little dog, Posy, began coming to work with me. She hates (no, really hates) hammers
so I decided to bring her along to the studio for a little peace and quiet. She has now become an official part of our design team, attending each creative meeting, taking her place during presentations and critiques.  Between meetings she can be found snoozing under my desk, or in any available lap.
