Get your gang going with some bright ideas for back to school!
It’s that time of year again…
With only a few short weeks left of summer, Moms everywhere are starting to gear up for back to school.
Growing up, we always had a fun breakfast on the first day of school to get us going in the right direction. These days, even as my girls are getting older, the funny face eggs and bacon are always a hit. They’re sure to make your kids smile back every time!
Not a fan of eggs and bacon? Maybe your kids would enjoy these rainbow pancakes. They sure are a colorful way to jump start your children’s morning!! Amanda over at I Am Mommy found this new way to use food coloring to the extreme. They look more like candy than breakfast to me, I’m not sure if I could join my kids eating these, how ’bout you?!?
Hoping for stress-free school mornings? Try making some cute check-list place mats to go under their bright breakfast. What an easy way be sure everyone gets their chores done each morning without constant reminders. With a few sheets of scrapbook paper, a printer and some tact paper you too can have these re-usable to-dos. Your kids can check off their chores everyday with dry erase markers and then erase for the next day. Fun AND functional, I love it!
Next up, like-able lunches! Make your little girl’s lunches bloom with pretty peanut butter and jelly flowers, veggie gardens and eco-friendly Lunchskins.
