My birthday day {May 5th} as we all know is Cinco de Mayo!! I’ve spent many a time eating Mexican…..yum. One year when I was in middle school it even fell on the Kentucky Derby!!

When I was in college, my birthday was ALWAYS during Finals Week- usually the middle or end of it, which can be cause for celebration too! The one I distinctly remember was at the end of my freshman year…..some of my friends put together an outdoor drive-in movie theatre with a white sheet on the back of their house. Using a borrowed video projector, we watched “The Sandlot”. They had popcorn, blankets, and cars in the backyard.They brought out a cookie cake at the end of the movie and everyone sang “Happy Birthday” to me It was a really special moment for me. I have always loved each and every birthday I’ve spent with friends &/or family, but this one in particular really meant a lot.
